TENTH ANNUAL ANGUILLA REGATTA SET FOR 11, 12, 13 MAY
‘RACE FAST, LIME SLOW’
In collaboration with the Anguilla Tourist Board, the Anguilla Sailing Association is proud to announce the tenth Annual Anguilla Regatta – known to be one of the best in the Caribbean. The Anguilla Regatta is famous for exciting courses and testing wind conditions, usually within the 13 – 18 knot range.
Executive Summary
The boat racing tradition is deeply engrained in the historical and cultural psyche of Anguilla and its people. It has remained relevant and competitive, keeping its various interest groups committed to the cause and has evolved over time to become, albeit unofficially, Anguilla’s National Sport. However there is one aspect of the Anguilla Boat Racing experience that could benefit greatly from advances in modern communications. Once the boats have set sail, for the hours that they are out of sight, there is little or no real entertainment on thebeachand enthusiast are left to wonder what is happening or to drive to various viewing points on the island to see how the boats are faring. With modern telecommunications it can now be possible to ‘follow’ the races without having to leave the beach. This proposal aims to demonstrate how it would be possible to show an entire boat race to interested persons who remain at thebeachawaiting the return of the boats.

This party is great, and the New Year looks bright.
Well, that’s how I dreamed it, while sleeping that night.
Snow is falling
From the sky above
Snow is falling
Put on scarf and glove
Snow is falling
Go look outside
Snow is falling
The old landscape it hide
What is paradise, what can it be?
Is it the same to you as it is to me?
Anguilla’s very own British dependency or “BD” traveled to St. Kitts for their very first time as a band. The band members may all be young, but these unique individuals each adds versatility, which makes them stand out even more. This band is a blend of remarkable players namely: Ruel Richardson: Guitarist and singer, Jaiden Fleming: Percussion and Joyah Gumbs the unique female Bass player. They also have the support of their founder and manager, Mr. Davon Carty as well as Anguilla Access independent press.
Travel to that place
where all your sorrows are erased.
Travel to that place,
where rest is embraced.
‘British Dependency’ is their name and playing music is their game, according to the trio band which hails from the next-door island of Anguilla. They are currently visiting St. Kitts for the first time to swing a number of venues this week.
Sprinkle, squish between my toes,
The smell of ocean to my nose.
The sea, the sea, the glorious, emerald sea,
Stretches as far as my sight carries me.
I’m wondering how long I can stay in this perfect water before my toes and fingers become so pruny thatat a chi-chirestaurantis out of the question. Is an hour too much? The sky is wide and the sea I’m bobbing in is a luminous aqua, brilliantly lit by streams of sunlight. Water like this is too good to pass up, so I adjust my mask, inhale a deep breath through my snorkel and decide that, worst case scenario, I'd wear my winter gloves at dinner.
Some might think that this tropical paradise is just good to visit during for summertime, but the fact is, travelling to the Caribbean can be a year round affair. Here are the top things that you can do in the Caribbean Islands every month of the year.
Christmas is great but Everyone’s insane
Going crazy with this stupid Christmas game
wrapping gifts and cooking food
and no one has time their not in the mood
giving gifts to one another
Tis the season to start planning your holiday vacation. While this year's shaky economy will force some to roast their chestnuts and stuff their stockings at home, others are already putting together their far-flung itineraries and checking them twice. For many intrepid holiday travellers, Christmas is just not complete with out a passport, a suitcase of good cheer, and a warm bed as far from home as the Caribbean.
I hope you really know
How much I truly care
Because when I’m away from you
It’s like something isn’t there
Like on this great vacation
There are so many places of extrordinary beauty in this world, of course we cannot visit them all, at least to see photos and read about them some facts, that's all we can do.

I need an island in the sea,
That’s right for me.
Gentle breeze blows by, as if singing a lullaby.
Beautiful coconut trees, dances in the breeze.
The waves crashing softly,
Against the soft wet sand.

The best beaches in the Caribbean are on Anguilla. There – I've said it now, and I have to confess I've spent many years researching this hot topic. If you don't agree – well, that's good. Let's grab a chilled Carib beer and discuss it, because frankly it's a far more interesting debate than the ones back home about bank rates and property prices.
A warm and welcoming island destination tucked away in the northern Caribbean.

On Anguilla, the sounds of the gentle blue sea and the soft winds through the palms provide natural relaxation and reprieve.
If beaches were the measure of an island's wealth, Anguilla would be one of the richest places in the West Indies. Even though it has more than 30 strands, plus several more on nearby cays, the isle'sbeachriches are not so much about quantity as quality. The sand on most of the beaches here is a truly powder-soft mix that can be blindingly white, making that blue, blue sea appear even more vivid.
